Mobile simulation

Medical Simulation training provides staff with training on how to handle realistic clinical situations using believable patient manikin responses. Through these high-fidelity scenarios, staff can reflect on how they work as part of a team, delivering effective timely interventions, using all the resources available and overcoming real life challenges that these situations always present.

This focus on crisis management simulated scenarios (turning learned knowledge into best and safest practice) is also the focus of other industries that train highly skilled staff in complex, rare and high risk situations.

CATS provide simulation as part of our hospital outreach teaching. With tetherless battery powered manikins this can be undertaken in a simulation centre, seminar room, ward, A&E or ambulance. Simulation is also incorporated in our regional courses and study days.

Please contact the designated CATS link consultant and/or nurse for your hospital if you wish to arrange an outreach simulation session.
